3/6: Navigating the Regulatory Landscape with Deloitte

Join us for our third webinar in the series "Are you ready for the circular future?". This time we'll focus on the upcoming regulatory changes in the textile industry.

The session will host two speakers from Deloitte Denmark. Edward Sims is the Director of ESG & Sustainability, and Laura Spangsberg Poulsen is an experienced Consultant in ESG & Sustainability. Both bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the session:

- Edward brings over 12 years of sustainability and ESG consulting experience for global corporations, banks, and governments, with an additional 4 years in policy-making at the European Parliament. Specializing in the circular economy, textiles, plastics, and waste management, Edward has advised international companies and governmental bodies, including recent work with the EU and Danish government on CSRD reporting and future EU textile sector regulations. He also offers guidance on sustainability and commercial positioning to Danish and international textile companies, understanding the sector's current challenges and opportunities.

- Laura possesses 5+ years of international work experience in the textile and fashion industry, focusing on driving business transformations towards sustainability. With hands-on insights into the challenges faced by textile and fashion brands, Laura supports clients in translating sustainability ambitions into actionable initiatives. She participates in Deloitte's Hub for Circular Textiles, leveraging her expertise to assist clients in managing sustainability risks and navigating evolving regulatory landscapes, ensuring compliance with the latest standards.

In this session, Edward and Laura will delve into the EU's regulatory landscape for the textile industry. Drawing from their extensive experience, they will provide valuable insights into the upcoming regulations, such as the EPR and the Ecodesign. As always, you are welcome to ask questions and share insights.
